Balance, 1989 (short film)
In the short film “Balance” there are 5 characters on a moving platform in an empty void. If one moves, all the others have to move in order to keep the platform in balance and prevent everyone from falling off.
Eventually, one of the characters moves to the edge of the platform and pulls out a fishing rod. They pull up some sort of crate which plays music if the handle is turned which is quite heavy, so everybody else has to move away from it in order to keep the balance. Now all of them want to inspect the crate further and they one by one intentionally move, causing the crate to slide towards them for them to take a look at it and forcing the others to move away from it.
One of the characters then tries to get the crate off the platform but is thrown off themselves as the result of it. The characters keep trying to get to the crate when one decides to sit on it. The others try to keep the platform in balance without success, getting thrown off one by one. In the End, the last remaining character ends up at the opposite end of the platform, unable to approach it because then the box would fall off.
